Officer Nuccitelli recognized for service
On Wednesday April 7th Officer Nick Nuccitelli was recognized by the La Verkin Ctiy council in the City Council meeting: On December 30, 2020 Officer Nuccitelli was on duty during a call for an overdosed male. The male’s family had called 911 to report their adult son was unconscious and had possibly overdosed on illegal narcotics. Officer Nuccitelli's swift and competent actions on December 30, 2020 resulted in the man receiving lifesaving assistance through the administration of department issued Naloxone and in so doing, exhibited a high level of professionalism that was shown during a high stress situation.

Planning Commission Chair retires

Planning Commission Chair retires
On Wednesday January 13th at our City Planning Commission Meeting, Anna Andregg was recognized by Mayor Hirschi for her years of service to the City of La Verkin. Anna has lived in La Verkin for over 20 years and has been involved with the City for 18 of those years. She has been currently serving on the La Verkin City Water Board as well as working as the Chairman of the La Verkin City Planning Commission.
