Public input request The Five County Association of Governments is updating an existing Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan, whichseeks to understand community risks and vulnerabilities to hazards including problem soils, radon gas, earthquakes, landslides, wildfire, severe weather, drought, and flooding. The plan allows communities to establish relevant mitigation actions that directly address these hazards impacton the communityto reduce risk to the residents, property, economy, and natural environment. La Verkin City is participating in this planning effort to develop a mitigation strategy.
